The City Council of Valencia and Valencia Club de Fútbol have signed an agreement to regulate the use of the New Stadium for football and athletics competitions. The agreement allows for the celebration of finals of official European competitions of the UEFA and the FIFA World Cup 2030. The agreement also contemplates the continuation of municipal management for the construction of the Benicalap Sports Complex. The main objective of this agreement is to regulate the free use of the New Stadium by the City Council and establish a stable framework of institutional collaboration between the parties in the field of sports. The agreement does not incur any expense for the City Council of València and will have a duration of four years, renewable for another four years. The Benicalap Sports Complex contemplates the creation of a Sports Pavilion adjacent to Dr. Nicasio Street.
