Valencia Club de Fútbol has entrusted Cbre with the sale of Mestalla land, which has 90,000 square meters of buildable area. The operation will be led by Cbre's Sports division, which specializes in sports real estate. The plot that hosts the club's first division football team until the transfer to its new stadium, Nou Mestalla, has a buildable area of approximately 90,000 square meters. For the consultant, this configuration “offers a high potential for transformation and repositioning, in line with current trends in multifunctionality of sports spaces and urban regeneration”. Cbre has been present in Valencia for 25 years and the operation will be led by its specialized division in the sports field, focused on maximizing the value of assets of this type and enhancing their positive impact on the urban and social environment. The operation highlights the growth of a real estate area such as sports, in which the consultant has strengthened its position. “Cbre's 360-degree approach is based on integrating economic, social and urban criteria to ensure that each sports asset contributes to the dynamism of the environment and the creation of long-term value”. In this sense, it is not the first time that the consultant has participated in similar sports projects, such as the new Celta360 sports city of Real Club Deportivo Celta de Vigo and, internationally, the Everton Stadium of Everton Football Club.
