Valencia Club de Fútbol has detailed the complete process for supporters to choose their seats at the Nou Mestalla, a key step ahead of the planned move for the 2027-28 season. The procedure, which will unfold over nearly a year, is divided into three clearly defined phases to ensure an orderly transition.
The club explained the plan in a statement, noting it has begun to share details about the move. This long-term planning arrives as the first team seeks to climb the La Liga table, currently sitting 19th with just 4 points from seven matches. The team has taken just one point from its last five league games, a run of form that compounds its troubles.
The first phase will run from 14 to 30 October 2026 and is dedicated to online group creation. The second and most important stage begins on 17 November, where members will visit room 1923 at the current Mestalla stadium in person to select their specific seat location. This process will continue until the end of May 2027. The final phase, for administrative formalisation and season ticket payment for the upcoming campaign, will take place in June and July.
"The Nou Mestalla will be divided by cardinal orientation," the club stated. The East and West sides will be the lateral stands, with the North and South as the ends. The stadium will feature four main seating tiers: Lower Stand (sectors 100-141), Middle Stand (200-258), Upper Stand (300-352), and Superior Stand (400-452). A hospitality and premium services zone with a capacity for 6,500 people will be located between the middle and upper stands.
The design includes specific areas like an animation stand in sectors 116 to 119 of the north end, holding 2,235 spectators. For away fans, 853 seats are reserved for domestic competitions, expandable to 3,495 for UEFA matches. A significant improvement will be the increase in accessible seating, rising from approximately 40 spaces at the current Mestalla to 137 in the new venue, most located in the last row of the lower stand.
Accessibility is a priority. Access to the lower and middle stands will be from the exterior perimeter at street level, while the upper and superior stands will be reached via twelve vertical communication towers. A 360-degree exterior walkway will surround the stadium from the west side.
This future project contrasts with the immediate competitive concerns. The team, coming off a 2-3 home defeat to Real Sociedad, faces a trip to face Racing Santander on 11 October.
