Valencia Club de Fútbol has made its first bid for Real Mallorca's central defender José Manuel Arias 'Copete'. The offer is two million euros for his signing.

What has happened?

The Ecijano defender has asked the Balearic club to accept the offer and let him leave, although for now Pablo Ortells, Football Director, insists on requesting four million euros.

Why is it important for Valencia Club de Fútbol?

The renewals of Valjent until 2029 and Raíllo until 2027 make Copete consider that he must find a way out that guarantees him more prominence and, above all, that offers him a more powerful contract than the one at Mallorca.

What comes next?

The Mallorca knows that Valencia will earn around 30 million euros from the two central defenders it has gotten rid of in a matter of a week. Yarek Gasiorowsi and Cristhian Mosquera can allow for a reinvestment to strengthen a position that has been weakened.

Valencia Club de Fútbol values Copete's trajectory in LaLiga, with three years as a bermellón, and also the possibility of getting an 'affordable price' for a player who would increase the salary he receives at Mallorca.
