Valencia Club de Fútbol has revealed the prices and reservation process for season tickets at the Nou Mestalla for the 2027/2028 season. The club aims to ease the transition to a 70,044-seat stadium, 35% larger than the current Mestalla, without causing further discontent among a fanbase enduring a tough sporting start, with the team 19th in La Liga on just 4 points from seven games.
Javier Solís, the project lead, stressed that the entry-level price remains unchanged. "The cheapest season ticket at the Nou Mestalla will be the same price as the current Mestalla," he said. That budget ticket will cost 300 euros and be located in the upper-tier curves. At the other end, the most expensive seats, in the central lower tier, will reach 1,700 euros. The average season ticket price will drop by 10%, settling at 537 euros compared to the current 599.
The club estimates that 80% of the roughly 40,000 current holders will be able to renew under similar conditions. However, around 20%, about 8,000 fans, will have to pay significantly more if they wish to keep a similar physical position relative to the pitch. Valencia CF will offer 50,000 standard season tickets and 5,000 premium ones. More than 20% of tickets will cost less than 450 euros and 40% under 500. The number of seats priced below 850 euros will match the current holder count of 45,804.
The process, which already has an active digital platform for virtual tours, will unfold in several phases. Group registration, requiring a representative or 'captain', will open between October 14 and 30. Physical seat selection will take place in Room 1923 at Mestalla, with an online option, from November 17 this year to May 2027. Turns will be assigned based on the average seniority of season ticket numbers in each group. Billing will begin in June and July 2027.
For new members, registering as a club member carries an additional cost of 50 euros. There are currently about 11,500 people on the waiting list and the club plans to close registration soon. If the 50,000 standard season ticket target is not met, a new registration period will be opened.
Jorge García and Franco Segarra explained that "approximately 7,000 seats will be reserved for UEFA-related uses, sponsor agreements, and other entities". This block includes the away fan section. The Nou Mestalla, expected to open in summer 2027, will be symmetrical and fully covered except for the pitch.
The move comes during a delicate sporting context, with the team mired in poor form. Following the latest defeat to Real Sociedad (2-3), the next fixture is a trip to 16th-placed Racing Santander. Meanwhile, the old Mestalla pitch turf is already up for auction, closing a historic chapter.
